Technology Anonymous unleashes social network AnonPlus after Google+ ban.

By: Mark Brown

Following a ban from Google+, web hacktivist clan Anonymous has said it will build its own social network -- one that won't tolerate "being shut down, censored or oppressed."

The nameless collective was ousted from Google's new social service earlier this month. The search giant shut down "Your Anon News," saying that "some of the posted content violates our Community Standards."

According to Anonymous, the masthead account was just one of many associated profiles to be silenced. "This is the sad fact of what happens across the internet when you walk to a different beat of the drum", the group said on its Tumblr blog.

"We've all heard the stories of activists being banned from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and governments blocking their people from these sites as well through organised black outs," the authorless blog post reads. "That day has came [sic] to an end."

The group has announced AnonPlus, "a new social network where there is no fear of censorship, of blackout, nor of holding back."

Right now, AnonPlus.com is simply a holding page to declare the group's lawless intentions and plans to beat "tyranny". "Soon the actual site will go up and you can begin to interact with it," the site reads. It also says that AnonPlus is "for all people, not just anonymous."

Google+ will definitely not be catering to anonymity anytime soon. The burgeoning circle-obsessed service has already faced heated identity issues as it forces users to ditch pseudonyms and fake monikers in favour of real-world names.

Disturbed Breaking Up?

One of the biggest selling hard rock acts of the last ten years maybe calling it quits.

Frontman David Draiman sort of suggested that during an interview with a radio station in Boise, Idaho.

He was asked if there would be a Music As A Weapon tour in 2012, and Draiman opened up his heart.

“There won’t be a ’Music For A Weapon’ tour next year,” he responded. “We don’t know what we’re doing…We’re not gonna do our own thing either. This is gonna be the last tour that the American people get to see us in for awhile, if not indefinitely.

“We have some things going on internally, we have some personal things going on,” he continued. “So I don’t know. It’s hard to tell. But I can definitely tell you there won’t be a ‘Weapon’ around next year with us on it. If we end up keeping that brand [and possibly 'leasing' it out to other bands to use]…it has kind of become its own entity, it’s something we have talked about in the past, and that’s possible. But you’re not gonna see a Disturbed tour for awhile.”

iOS 4.3.4 jailbroken with PwnageTool on iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad 1.

By Richard Lawler

We're less than 12 hours clear of iOS 4.3.4 hitting the streets, and alrehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifady posters at Redmond Pie claim to have a PwnageTool 4.3.3 bundle that unlocks it. Ready to roll on every device except for the iPad 2, this tethered jailbreak brings back Cydia and anything else you might have missed after foolishly updating this afternoon. Any brave souls ready to jump in (at their own risk of course) immediately can find directions at the source link below, let us know how it's worked for you in the comments below.
